Homebuyer Rush is On!
Today, April 30 is the last day of the first-time home buyers tax credit! It is also the last day of current homeowners credit as well. You have until midnight tonight to have a signed contract in hand, and the deal must be completed by June 30. The tax incentives that were offered to both first-time buyers and some current homeowners are fueling a strong spring selling season. The government is offering buyers who haven't owned a home for three years a tax credit of 10 percent of the purchase price, up to $8,000.
